Are you wondering if the advice you are getting or product being pitch to you are appropriate and that you really know all the costs? A second opinion can give you piece of mind and some alternatives to consider.
Personalized Investment & Asset Allocation Planning
A typical Investment Analysis includes a review of your current investments, an evaluation of your risk sensitivity, development of an Investment Policy Statement covering asset allocation and account location strategies, investment education materials, and recommended portfolio changes summarized in an action plan. The analysis is presented during an in office meeting unless you request documents only. To address outstanding questions your Investment Analysis includes one hour of phone/email follow up. An annual Investment Analysis is recommended. Quarterly investment monitoring is available upon request.
Specialized Gay and Lesbian Financial Planning
Domestic Partner couples tend to be higher income earning individuals with a bright financial picture. A common question is: Once we have money, where do we put it, so that it will benefit our situation in both the short-term and long-term? Retirement planning is one of the most difficult areas. What do you do if your partner has a pension but his company doesn’t recognize survivor benefits for domestic partners? What happens if your partner passes away with a substantial 401k or IRA? Will the taxes due or withdrawal choices destroy your plan? A solid plan will protect you and help you achieve your goals.
This analysis includes a comprehensive review of your 1040 tax return for specific tax planning and savings opportunities. Tax planning is also available as a overlay on all other planning modules.
Debt Freedom Analysis including College Loans
Develop a strategy to pay down your debt and reduce the interest being paid. A smart strategy can save you thousands of dollars and greatly reduce your stress.
Cash Management & Budgeting Coaching
What should you have in savings? What should you allocate to debt payment vs. retirement and other goals? We can help you find the balance and coach you on to success.
Borrowing Decisions: Business, Real Estate, Education and other needs
Don’t let a poor decision in one of these areas derail your financial security. We can help you think through all your options and their short and long-term impact.
Risk Management and Insurance Reviews
We will review your current insurance policies and areas in which you choose not to insure. In depth policy evaluation and recommendation is available through outside licensed insurance experts. The Risk Management review also includes a life, disability, and/or long term care insurance needs analysis.
Estate Plan Reviews
Review of basic estate planning documents, discussion of legacy desires and implementation strategies, charitable giving and gifting strategies.
